Rush Sales – Introduction

Rush Sales orders in SAP SD are used when customers need products urgently and expect immediate delivery. These are commonly used in industries like automotive, healthcare, electronics, and spare parts, where fast fulfillment is critical to operations. In this process, as soon as the sales order is created, the system automatically generates the delivery document, while invoicing happens later, once the goods are received.
This document outlines the complete configuration of rush sales in SAP, including:
- Defining document types in VOV8
- Assigning them in OVAZ
- Setting item categories and schedule lines via VOV7, VOV4, and VOV6
- Order creation in VA01
- Delivery processing in VL02N
- Billing and accounting in VF01 and VF02
- Document flow tracking in VF03
For full configuration steps, download the document below.
